"18+ review ahead, scroll if you don’t wanna read: what an interesting movie! I think the ending was a little flaccid, but that’s sort of to be expected with a guy who can’t keep it in his pants and is either consciously or unconsciously using his nonmonogamy to drive his boyfriend away. There are some really funny cuts between a barnyard and the chaos of a classroom, and I also had some schadenfreude over the pricked egos of passed-over cruisers. The main character is a pretty bad boyfriend, but a pretty good teacher, up until his collapsing relationship leads to him directing a classroom in full drag; after which he was almost certainly fired. If some people STILL can’t wrap their brains around drag storytime in the 2020s, drag from a teacher in the 1980s would be definitely… not well-received by parents or management. The kids, being kids, have no issues with it."
