"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an homage to the MGM musical heyday! I dare anyone to watch this and not come away with an incredible amount of respect ~ no, admiration ~ for those old corny classics. The level of talent, effort, complexity and sheer opulence is astounding! If you don’t know Gene Kelly’s amazing work ethic and athleticism, watch this. How can anyone not be stunned by his death defying routines. Really, I don’t believe this is hyperbole. One misstep and serious injury was a real possibility if he wasn’t who he was! I also couldn’t help feeling moved by imagining audiences back then watching Judy Garland on the big screen sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow for the very first time. It was so beautiful! And so many other beautiful moments, magical stars and awe inducing sequences. What a time in moviemaking! "
"I love Gene Kelly and having him introduce just the best singing and dancing parts from all the old musicals is entertainment indeed! "
