Designing Woman

"This uneven romantic comedy stars an odd couple: Lauren McCall and Gregory Peck. The plot is typical for the time period: she's a uptown designer for the theater, 🎭 and he's a downtown sports writer. The couple meet and quickly fall in love and get married. Each has to get used to each other's circle of friends. Some parts were pretty funny, and you can look beyond the fact that Lauren Bacall and Gregory Peck didn't have much chemistry because of the type of plot. But I liked it for what it is: a light-hearted romantic comedy."
