"When my son was was diagnosed Autistic at age 12, the doctor recommended we watch this movie. We didn't have access to it and I always meant to get around to watching it. My son is high functioning and older now. I found this movie at a thrift store and purchased it. It was a little bit of a hard watch for me. It was hard to watch her autistic behavior for reasons I still can't explain to myself. I think I'm a little on the Spectrum myself. It is also hard for me to watch the processes of a beef slaughterhouse. I grew to care for her character and got teary eyed about her desire for the cattle to be treated with respect. I love that. This was a wonderful movie. I wish I had seen it sooner."

"Absolutely Loved This Movie!!! Based On True Story and the real "Temple Grandin" is still active in Autism Awareness and other things today! No one ever knows what I'm talking about when I mention this movie lol Claire Danes was amazing, one of her best roles in my opinion!! My absolute Fav line in movie, She gets off plane in a small rural country town and says in her Super Thick Country Twang Accent, "Do People Live Here"!? I laughed so hard! πππ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT, GO NOW! GO FIND IT AND WATCH AND COME BACK AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THOUGHT!!! ππβπ»βπ»ππ"
"This is a beautifully scripted and acted movie. If it had been generally released in theaters I'm convinced it would have gotten Oscar nods-- particularly Claire Danes who it's immersed in this role. Universally liked by audiences. The real Temple Grandin is active in speaking at autism conferences and can be seen on YouTube, if you're curious. I believe she was involved in production of this film."
