"Watching this feels like you're uncovering something that wasn't meant for wide release, even though it's actually pretty popular for a short film. I've seen this compared to Adult Swim shorts a few times and I can see it but it's almost harder to follow than that implies. It is an interesting subversion on the expectations it sets up for you. A take on middle American fear, with a couple of queer characters and premise that feels both ludicrous and mundane. It's a musical horror short film from the 80s so of course I have some foundress for it but I don't feel like I caught everything. Maybe I should watch this not drunk sometime."
