"Lon Chaney Jr and his portrayal of Count Dracula was very subdued. The plot unraveled more like a twisted love story instead of the usual hunt for Dracula to end his grip on the unsuspecting. The film was fairly suspenseful, and the supporting actors were good in their respective roles."
