"This is why Alfred Hitchcock is one of the greats. He told a riveting thriller with no dialogue and it hooked me from beginning to end. The score was gorgeous and the acting was phenomenal, especially since they had to say everything with physicality and facial expressions. SPOILER ALERT: To be honest, I was rooting for the lodger the whole time. He had much better chemistry with Daisy than Joe. I’m so glad he ended being innocent!"
"Thoroughly enjoyed this film. This was my first introduction to silent films and it definitely inspired me to watch more. If you like romance, mystery and a twist I recommend. "
