"Once again Michael Caine stars in a behind the scenes movie about a stage play. This time, it is a comedy. The movie stars Carol Burnett, Denholm Elliott, Mary Lou Henner, John Ritter, and Christopher Reeve. The plot is basic. Michael Kane is a stage play producer and is worried that his script won't be accepted by the masses. The whole movie plays out as a dress rehearsal for the play, and at times parts of it are acted live in front of audiences. It was fun to watch."
