"Jellicle" cats join for a Jellicle ball where they rejoice with their leader, Old Deuteronomy. One cat will be chosen to go to the "Heavyside Layer" and be reborn.
"The play of Cats in the home theatre form before the feature film brought to theaters, worth watching for fans of the play and wishing to hear the songs and stories of the Jellicle Cats!"
Harvey F Smith
"Wow, this is one heck of a musical! I loved it as a child and it still holds up now. The costumes and makeup are perfect. The songs and singing are wonderful! Very easy to get attached to certain characters.
This is definitely the cat's meow!"
Darian
"The musical not the movie"
Professor Plum
"Half of this show could be cut without much loss—but it was so wildly odd and oddly ***** that I couldn’t look away. I can’t imagine seeing this in the 80s while under the influence of fashionable 80s substances."
Maxine D
"It was really good! I will admit that there’s a lot more of dancing in it compared to singing, but it was really interesting to watch an iconic show entirely based off of an old book of poems. This isn’t the CGI remake which is another plus. "
Emma Englin
"why is this ironically good like every song here slaps"
"I've watched this dozens of times when I was a kid, and know mostly each song word for word. Absolutely love it."
