"Unfortunately, this thriller with Brittany Murphy fails at trying to scare or invoke any other emotion other than confusion and sorrow. This film tried to be more than it was, and it really didn't succeed. I kept waiting for the plot to become more intelligent, but it didn't happen. The plot is about a screenwriter who temporarily lives in rented house for quiet to finish writing a screenplay. During her stay, she witnesses events that cause her deep distress. I felt that this movie seems to make light of a person who may have a mental illness just for cheap thrills. It just didn't work for me."
