"The 1986 remake is a lot better but it was funny seeing Jack Nicholson as the crazy patient at the dentist. "

"With the recent passing of Roger Corman, I was interested in checking out one of his films. I was shocked at the extent to which I enjoyed this. A ridiculously fun time. The premise and dialogue delivery by actors are utterly preposterous (I found myself laughing a lot), but what makes this film really work is its extreme self-awareness, and I absolutely respect this film for it. There is a hilarious and memorable scene-stealing cameo by a young Jack Nicholson here. Worth watching for sure.
Roger Corman was famous for giving a lot of people in the industry their first jobs, ranging from Martin Scorsese to Francis Ford Coppola, from James Cameron to Ron Howard, from Jack Nicholson to Sandra Bullock among others. The skills they learned during their time with him helped them during their careers. What an incredible guy he has proven to be in terms of helping people over the years, and he will be missed."

"What's crazy is, I saw this one first, when I was younger, and really liked it. I like how they play it out like accidents, and the surprise bloom at the end really adds a punch to the story. The characters are also unique and distinct. To my surprise the 1980s remake was not the same as this one. Both are cute, but this one holds a special place in my heart💚🌱🪴🌻.... Jack Nicholson reading a Pain magazine was my wallpaper on my phone for the longest time. 😆🧐😁🦷"
