"I was expecting gang wars initially but in actuality it was a musical. Still is a gang war 🎞 but still it’s a musical. Color me surprised. What surprised me even more was that 🎞 that repped the spirit and some of the aspects of golden age hip-hop. Picks up around the later half and the cooler fight scenes are there too. Not gonna lie but it grew on me. "
