Norma and Arthur Lewis, a suburban couple with a young child, receive a simple wooden box as a gift, which bears fatal and irrevocable consequences. A mysterious stranger delivers the message that the box promises to bestow upon its owner $1 million with the press of a button. However pressing this button will simultaneously cause the death of another human being somewhere in the world; someone they don't know. With just 24 hours to have the box in their possession, Norma and Arthur find themselves in the cross-hairs of a startling moral dilemma and must face the true nature of their humanity.

But when i watched a good portion of the movie I found out it’s science fiction related it only got worse and worse (for me)lol I’m not a SCI-FI fan so it’s a no for me dawg 🤣 (I didn’t read the genre before watching) "

"The first half definitely felt like the Twilight Zone and I was very into it. The climax and resolution though left me with too many questions as the story tried to make certain things seem important when they ultimately were not. I feel it should have been vague all the way through or more detailed from the beginning but this mix it did didn't work. It's a flop for mystery for me."
