"This is a not so well written totally 1980s comedy drama, sort of thriller about the near annihilation of Los Angeles and other cities in the United States after a comet passes by Earth. It seems as if this movie was supposed to be a zombie movie, but was later changed to be a post-apocalyptic movie of sorts. The script is unbelievably basic, and the writing is terrible. The acting just barely passes, but this film is still fun to watch because of the over-the-top acting and fun music."
"With a blaring red atmospheric haze, well-sketched characters, and hardly anything else, Thom Eberhardt's hilarious, satirical blast on Reaganism and the joy of consumer control is intermingled with a low-fi sci-fi hang-out vibe. It exists on the brink of a void, totally consumed in its premise, promising nothing more than the greatest version of itself. Samantha and Regina, in the face of desolation, know exactly what to do - embrace what you love."
