"One of my favorite films that I had to watch for film history. It puts into perspective how Ally soldiers, specifically US soldiers, treated Japanese War Criminals. You learn about the histories of the characters, and Yamashita, who is falling into despair throughout the film. You do sympathize with the characters, especially with one that was constantly stating he’s still too young and that he’s “38!” The movie had well cinematography, especially when a certain character got sentenced, there are cuts to express his despair.
Defintley a rewatchable film, and one you can rewatch and find new details."
