"At the suggestion of @nate_kankelfitz, I watched this original horror movie whose remake Slither from 2096, I watched first, in backwards order. Thank you, Nate! This totally 1980's movie starring Tom Atkins definitely has a much slower plot. It starts out in 1959, and fast-forwards to the 1980s when a parasite 🪱 from a corpse escapes from the town mortuary into nearby sororities. There is a fun soundtrack, and most of the characters are okay, but don't stand out too much. The acting is fair. Warning:⚠️ brief female nudity, and some cursing."
