"after hearing james talk about stand up in such a negative light i love that he put together something like this and i hope it was as healing for him as it felt to watch. so funny and so inspiring!! he makes some amazing points about the art of protecting our past selves. it made me want to cry. i adore this man, i’m convinced he’s the best we’ve got. it’s easy to recommend this, but the reality is you’ve gotta watch repertoire and cold lasagne first. it’s worth it to understand his inner workings and it’s just incredible hilarious work and my favorite stand up ever.
