"This is a David Spade comedy that I never hear people talking about. Spade plays Dickie Roberts, the former star of an 80's sitcom, all grown up and maladjusted, his life a tabloid article. He goes to audition for a Rob Reiner movie, but Reiner (played by himself) tells Dickie that he never learned how to be a normal person, because of his messed up childhood, so he can't play normal people. So Dickie hires a conventional nuclear family to "raise" him. It's really hilarious. "
