"This movie neutered the ideas in the book, which were already quite shallow. It's probably worth a watch if you're invested in the politics."

"REWATCH: Thus began the end of an era and what an era it was. This series put me in a chokehold I will never escape. The fact that this movie is that good and then how part 2 elevates it to a fever pitch puts it in a league all its own when it comes to franchises."

"If I had to choose my least favorite film out of all four, it would be this one. It definitely has the slowest plot and not much is going on."

"Does deviate a fair amount from the book... this is where the movie franchise starts to lose its gumption. I still enjoyed it because I'm such a fan of the books, but I could see others not necessarily enjoying it without the background of having read it and falling in love with the characters. "

"I enjoyed it more than the first film. The film showed more romance between Peeta and Katniss you could feel and see the emotions in their eyes and their words. "

"This third excerpt was very Meh for me. It just wasn’t a lot to keep me engaged and kinda boring. But I guess with the first two films having high notes it was bound to take a dip. Let’s just hope the last one actually is better."

"I will knock it down a point because it was a little slow, but obviously setting up for the next movie. This movie ain't a slouch either. Plenty of good moments like Katniss wanting to fight in the revolution, but not wanting to be the leader. She is reluctant, but she eventually accepts the role, which is something that I would do.
Sad that it is Phillip Seymour Hoffman's last movie, he was an awesome actor, but he left on a high note.
Definite recommend. "

"We’re starting to get- even more- political now. Still fantastic acting and a great story but it’s absolutely nothing like the first two. The second two are definitely more serious. "

"Wouldve been better if the part 1 and 2 were combined. So many excessively long moments and useless footage"
