"Starring Barbara Stanwyck, George Brent, and Eve Arden, this romantic drama follows the life of Mrs. Drummond after the death of her husband. Her home town social circle doesn't understand her need to want to start a new life of her own, apart from the usual routines. She soon meets a man who, by his charm and carefree look at people and living, makes Jessica Drummond reexamine herself and what she truly wants out of love and life. The acting was good, and Barbara does a good job of showing her frustration and chaffing at what her friends see as the perfect life."
