Cissy, Reggie, and Wilf are in a home for retired musicians. Every year, there is a concert to celebrate Composer Giuseppe Verdi's birthday and they take part. Jean, who used to be married to Reggie, arrives at the home and disrupts their equilibrium. She still acts like a diva, but she refuses to sing. Still, the show must go on, and it does.

"This was so heartwarming! I think we have all feared old age at one point or another. I know I dread the thought of physically not being able to do the activities you love, but this film is a soothing balm to those fears. It’s incredibly touching seeing a group of people connect through music, no matter their age. The main four, the quartet if you will, we’re amazing. I loved the second-chance romance between Jean and Reggie. It felt so real and authentic. But my favorite characters were Wilf and Cissy, by far. Wilf was just a barrel of laughs and Cissy…. Well I just adored Cissy. She was so sweet and she was just happy to be around her friends, doing what they all loved. It broke my heart whenever she would be caught in a bought of confusion and not know where she was. There were a lot of moments like that. Don’t get me wrong, this movie is not sad. If I were to characterize it in one word, I’d say bittersweet. Lastly, the ONLY thing I did not like about this film is that we didn’t actually see them perform the quartet. We heard a bit of it, but I wanted to see their triumph on stage. Oh, well. That being said, this is a new comfort watch for me."
