"This film's description really isn't correct to me. Instead of a series of contests between warriors, this film is essentially an artfully constructed film, a real life love letter to martial arts and military technique. Nothing really incredible happens, although during the plot it seems as if there will be a battle. If you decide to watch this film, remember that this is mostly a slow paced formulaic education in sword technique and mental strength. It looks like a stage play with just enough plot to carry out the objective. Mandarin audio."
