"This and Mary poppins are the most revolutionary and socialist of the Disney films. The animation is lacking, the backgrounds are cribbed from jungle book and Winnie the Pooh, there’s recycled bits from pretty much everything. And I don’t care. The animators did what they could on a nothing budget and a terrible studio head and the end product is scrappy and heartfelt. Steal from the wellbudgeted films and give to the poor, say I."
