"With all the craziness that happened with the main and co-main events, I'm very happy how this card turned out. From the prelims, we finally got to see the "Dagestani Pirate" Shara Magomedov make his interesting debut against the dangerous Bruno Silva. Then, to end off the prelims, Muhammad Mokaev proved to the flyweight division that he is ready to take on the elites of the division by submitting battle-tested Tim Elliot in the 3rd round. As for the main card, it was nothing but entertaining throughout. Said Nurmagomedov opened the card with a beautiful submission against another Combat Sambo champion. Ikram Aliskerov proves yet again to be a force to be reckoned with in a 1st round KO. I was highly disappointed in the way that the Ankalaev vs Walker fight ended, hopefully the rematch will be different. Khamzat Chimaev lives up to the hype by soundly defeating the 2nd best Welterweight of all time, making fans excited for his future title fight with Strickland. Finally, MMA fans need to start putting respect on Islam's name after that amazing KO against the Featherweight GOAT. This card exceeded my expectations and is one of the best cards in 2023."
