"I'm grateful that I was able to see this movie before it's release. This movie was so good, A24 has yet to disappoint me. The Cinematography was excellent, the acting was so real, and the story really makes you feel something. I love movies that leave you thinking; movies that change how you think about things. This movie dives into a topic I never thought too deeply about. And on top of all of that I thought it was really surprising that they got some of the actual people to play themselves."
"Amazing movie! Poignant and compassionate, yet powerful and heart breaking. The power of art and camaraderie and friendship in the most unlikely of places. I love the fact that most actors are the former inmates of sing sing who participated in the theater program that is the center of this story. Every one person is so much more than the one thing that seemingly defines them, and that is the point that this movie gets across so clearly. The best performance by Colman Domingo that I’ve seen so far.

"We enjoyed “Sing Sing” a lot. This is a different kind of prison movie in a good way. It’s not about the horrible physical conditions. It’s about the horrible mental conditions. The acting is excellent and the story line is simple.
I highly recommend the movie for many reasons - the first is to generate the positive human to human interaction and caring. "
