"An MGM+ original that I really enjoyed. Ex kidnaps girl who when escapes breaks her glasses and can’t see anything. She calls some random number and gets a convenience store clerk with MH issues to be her eyes over video call. Amazing cast including two leads, Mindori Francis and Jolene Purdy. Missy Pyle is also great as a gun toting Karen. Just fantastically written and directed by Yoko Okumura, who I can’t wait to see what she does next. "
"I think they should put a little more emphasis on the storyline but overall it was a good movie so we know how he got there. #ALittleSpoilerAlert"

"Unique concept...a women being chased in the woods has lost her glasses and is basically blind. By chance she re dails a missed call to a total stranger who now must guide her through the woods to safety using face time. They did provide some back story and did a good job building the connection. However they almost derailed the whole thing....they go back and forth between this tense life and death situation with this ridiculous standoff in the gas station. It was pretty grounded up till that point. Worth a watch for with its short run time. For a more detailed review please check out my podcast Mostly Low Budget Movie Reviews with Clarence. "This movie might be the highlight of all the summer movies I've seen. I found the premise very entertaining, and I guess as a woman who has dated a questionable man or two in hindsight, and someone who sleeps in their glasses from fear of not being able to see if woke by an emergency situation, I easily put myself into the mindset of one of the leading roles. I found the way the two characters settled into a friendship pace very quickly was super endearing, because there are just those people you find in life who immediately it clicks with. I thoroughly enjoyed the sometimes in your face themes and other hinted ones throughout the movie, speaks volumes to the current social climate we live in. For all the violence, and other very sensitive topics in this movie, it left me with such a warm and feel good vibe. Sometimes I don't mind a happy ending with my horror. Throw in some laughs and I'm truly sold. "
