"way better than it has any right to be. Satisfying 3 act structure, dramatic at all the right moments, each character has a clear motive. This is how you set up a sequel. You know by the second act that there’s gonna be a sequel, and yet the story still ends in a satisfying way. I was pleasantly surprised after the crackling garbage of Drac 2000 "

"Barely watchable. Like a really bad, white imitation of Blade, but nowhere near as exciting, and with a lot of boring filler. Surprised to see Roy Scheider in this movie, but he's only there briefly enough that they can put his name on it. Not much to say, except that the first looks like a masterpiece by comparison. Uffizi the vampire hunter priest has some cool weapons, and that's kind of the only highlight."
