"I know that I am very late to viewing this monster hunting film. I absolutely loved the refreshing novelty of this story. Jim Caviezel plays the role of a futuristic soldier who crash lands on Earth after a terrible event. He finds a Viking village, and the warriors soon join forces with him to fight a beast who seemingly has no weaknesses, and is unlike anything they have ever seen or experienced. The action is great, and the CGI monsters are fearsome."

"This was a great take on Beowulf and then of course there was the gorgeous James Caviezel. Regardless, I'm still unhappy. The Moorwen did not deserve what happened to them and it greatly ****** me off. I only wish the people who actually deserved their wrath, received it. What was done to them broke my heart."
