"This is such a good movie that I’m going to forgive the Rom-Com killing manufactured third act conflict. The star of the movie is the director, and that’s saying something because the two leads are magnificent. This feel good movie leans more to the Rom over Com. "

"I really enjoyed this movie! It is romantic and comedic but not a rom-com in the traditional sense. Its so interesting how it's filmed and written and made and just you should watch it! Perfect example of how to be experimental in a movie successfully. Even at one point early on, they did a sort of musical bit that was SO COOL cause the characters weren't actually singing, but there was something melodic about how they spoke. Very solid movie night choice!"

"this has been on my watchlist for SO LONG. i was in a rare mood to watch a romcom so i figured it was time to cross it off. it was cute!! a lil cheesier than i thought. i guess i wanted it to stray further from tropes but it was respectable. i really wanted to get to know the lead characters individually like in scenes without the other. there was an unfortunate amount of potty humor ??? but whatever i’m just picky and annoying about romcoms (bc i don’t like them lol). i had fun! it was sweet!! the struggle of not knowing how vulnerable to be with someone and being overwhelmed by their honesty and literally just wanting to seem cool is SO REAL. i understand yas. visually unique and i loved the storytelling/flashback style. "
