"Wow, wow, wow! When I say this movie deeply touched my soul I wholeheartedly mean it. Told through flashbacks and the present day, this follows the love story between two people who find each other against all odds. They fall deeply in love, coming from different cultures that slowly merge into one through the way that they connect and intimately interact. It is devastating, yet hopeful, and meaningful to its very core. I didn’t just see this story evolve, I felt it. It pulled me in to its emotional depths that awakened my every inch. Time has a way of changing us, yet one thing remains the same in this story: an eternal pull to that one special person who becomes an extension of ourselves.
This movie is poignant and sweetly sensual, uncovering how the art of touch is as delicate as it is reassuring. We’re touched by the way someone takes the intentional time to understand us. We’re touched by the one we love and hold dear to our heart as if seeing each other again is exactly as exhilarating and knee-buckling as the first time. There’s that one that spontaneously changes how we think for the better and opens our mind wide and true. The complexity of moments and feelings even both, in most instances, span even deeper than language. This movie communicates the power of our different love languages through the vividness of intuiting and feeling, which makes it unequivocally a new favorite. "
