Second Chances

"This was a mishmash of weirdly edited shots that remained quite non-cohesive and at times laughably silly. Jimi, the lead, is on the lookout for love, both in her personal life and for other people. She works at a consignment shop called Second Chances, where she is ready to repurpose your wardrobe in whatever way you could possibly dream up. However, when she comes across a consigned bag with a love note inside she becomes determined to reunite the couple in question. While I thought that that would be the main focus of the movie, it truly wasn’t. Oddly compiled with a random succession of images and loosely done plot, I was massively underwhelmed and truly belly-giggled at moments that weren’t even supposed to be funny. It was like the movie couldn’t stay long in one moment or one shot. It was constantly switching around and desperately needed to find its more purposeful focus, but alas it never did. I was strangely intrigued and invested enough to continue watching, but overall nothing too special to behold here. "
