"Although this sci-fi drama from a small studio is a bit contrived, and the plot is somewhat derivative and predictable, but I still liked parts of the plot. I type that because there is something hypnotic about Johnathan Rhys Meyers acting that usually drags me into a story. Although this mildly suspenseful story only gives the viewer enough information to keep their interest, and asks you to firmly believe that nothing else is possible, just like the lead female character. We follow her life with her husband in a futuristic world in which automated female companions can be bought and sold to clients and a faction of people believe the companions should have the freedom of humans. The acting is a bit stilted and some of the characters are unnecessary, but overall the story held my interest. Warning:⚠️ brief female nudity."
"If you're an old man who thinks he's better then everyone else.. than maybe you'll like this movie. But it's total trash and the main character is such a pathetic old fart. Basically glorifies using women as s*x bots, which wouldn't be bad if this movie wasn't painfully unintelligent. If I wanted to watch gross old men act entitled to women then I'd go out to the bar."
