A.J. Wood The first one was good. The second and third ones I don’t remember watching.

Brandon Reed The second one apparently finishes the story from the novel. Neither is nearly as good as the original.

lyzander cross Was the second one the one with a shining city with acid water and memories being lost, if so I don't remember the third, if it was the third then I don't remember the second, but I've definitely watched all 3

Brandon Reed For my part, I thoroughly enjoy the movie. I just posted my review on it, which I thought I'd done before. I won't repost it, here, but you can check the review out if you'd like to know my thoughts. Some fun facts, the book was a German/American production. I think that comes through in a lot of the design elements. No American filmmaker is going to make the Sphinxes in their children's movie look like THAT, after all, lol. The first two NeverEnding Story movies are adapted from the German novel titled "The NeverEnding Story," in English, by Michael Ende. Noah Hathaway, who plays Atreyu, became a tattoo artist after taking a hiatus from acting. He said he did an incredible number of Auryn symbols on people.

Brandon Reed Is there any one thing that keeps you coming back? Or is it just that pretty much everything about it is great?

Schwamberger Everything. The characters are also endearing. Except maybe not the nothing..🙂

lyzander cross Slowly but surely I'm seeing less people comment "artax no!" On videos with horses sinking into mud and it saddens me, there's one I commented that on a few months back and I was and still am the only one for that video. People are forgetting, much that once was is lost

Road Master I came here to mention that that killed me when I was a kid.

Road Master I probably yelled. "ARTAAAAX!!"

Road Master I loved Falcor and definitely wanted a Luck Dragon for a friend. Artax in the Swamp of Sadness broke my tiny heart. The Rockbiters were just amazing. Gmork absolutely terrified me in all the right ways. All in all, this was a fantastic, emotional rollercoaster.

David Rachau Haven't watched it in a pretty long time, but this, along with Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal and Willow, really shaped my young mind.

Brandon Reed On that subject, it's undeniable that these movies and maybe a few others like them had a huge influence on metal.

PoPadre What’s there to discuss… it’s was 80s movie gold. Gave many kids their first crush and their first lasting traumatic death that they still get sad think about (Artax 😭)… scary scenes, crazy characters, awesome scenery, awesome movie , awesome song …

Brandon Reed Oh, I think you're the first person to mention the song! Lol. I have the original version of the theme song and an EDM remix on my day to day playlist.

Brandon Reed @PoPadre I just re-watched it, and I think it's still good at my age (clearly, lol).

Nona Lisa I'm 56 years old and I've never seen this movie. I think I was abducted by aliens. It's the only reason I could come up with.

Russ Hoyt I am 55 and have never watched it either. It came out in 1984. I probably didn’t find the trailer appealing.
