Gamer. Nerd. Sorceress. Jade Crow lives a quiet life running her comic book and game store in Wylde, Idaho. After twenty-five years fleeing from a powerful sorcerer who wants to eat her heart and take her powers, quiet suits her just fine. Surrounded by friends who are even less human than she is, Jade figures she’s finally safe. As long as she doesn’t use her magic. When dark powers threaten her friends’ lives, a sexy shape-shifter enforcer shows up. He’s the shifter world’s judge, jury, and executioner rolled into one, and he thinks Jade is to blame. To clear her name, save her friends, and stop the villain, she’ll have to use her wits… and her sorceress powers. Except Jade knows that as soon as she does, a far deadlier nemesis awaits. Justice Calling is the first book in the Twenty-Sided Sorceress urban fantasy series. Key Themes: Magic, Shapeshifters, Urban Fantasy, Sorcerer, Witch, Werewolf, Romance, Paranormal, Fantasy, Native American, Strong Female Protagonist, Shifter, Nerd, Gamer

"It was an entertaining story but it wasn't what I would call a great book. There was action and romance but there wasn't much depth to anything. It seemed more like the author tried to rush the book than take the time to get into detail. Even though it was lacking in detail and depth I still enjoyed reading it and plan to read others in the series."

"This was a great audiobook. It is short, like 2 1/2 hours, but it's a great length if you want to listen to a book in one afternoon. This was purely purchased on whim. I saw it on audible and decided to go for it. The short story made for a fast listen but it was engaging and entertaining. To me, none of this was boring or tedious as some longer audiobooks can be so I was thrilled. I was a little sad it was coming to a close so soon as I highly enjoyed the story.

Jade was an interesting character. She's what the other supes are scared of and she's afraid of discovery. But she has to make a choice on how she wants to live. I really liked her while she was struggling with the decision. Let's be honest, most of people would have a hard time not struggling with putting themselves in danger to save their friends or to run and save themselves. It's a hard choice.

And hey, Aleksei isn't all that bad of a potential book boyfriend either! I enjoyed the narration of his accent because russian accents are hard for me to think in my head as I read (or I should say almost any accent). I look forward to seeing what he gets into in the next book."
