Takane & Hana, Vol. 1

"4.5 rounded up<br/><br/>I really enjoyed this. The only part I didn't like was the 10 year age gap. I don't get that. But anyways. The humor was SPOT. ON. I was nearly crying with laughter at some spots. <br/><br/>I think the story is really funny and interesting (exception being the age gap). It flows really smoothly, unlike some shojo I've read. It does have some jerkiness in it but it's necessary. <br/><br/>I LOVE THE ART!!! It's so well done and OMG...... So amazing. Every character (even the side/supporting ones) looks fabulous. Like omg. Wow. I love it. <br/><br/>The characters really were the best. The MC is my favorite and I love how the love interest reacts. They're both pretty intense. But they make sense together and they balance each other out. The rest of the cast don't really play a huge part and really only support the main two. Maybe we will see something unexpected in the next volumes. <br/><br/>Lemme just say the extra short story in the back was perfect after everything. Pretty much all of the extras I read which is unusual because normally I skip over them."
