Emily and Navin's mother is still in a coma from the arachnopod's poison, and there's only one place to find help: Kanalis, the bustling, beautiful city of waterfalls. But when Em, her brother, and Miskit and the rest of the robotic crew aboard the walking house reach the city, they quickly realize that seeking help is looking for trouble, dangerous trouble. The Elf King's son, Trellis, is still after them, but this time he's accompanied by a mysterious and dangerous guard, Luger. Then an equally mysterious fox, Leon Redbeard, steps in to help. This new fox friend offers to take Em on the perilous trip up Demon's Head Mountain to find the antidote she needs. Miskit is suspicious, Navin is worried about being left behind, and Emily is in the toughest spot of all. She's got to let loose the power of the amulet—without losing herself!

"The art continues to be phenomenal, and the writing stepped up a notch, too. This short story demonstrates a little more plot development than its predecessor, and it introduces solid themes and more complex tensions and dilemmas.

The two strike me as a great place for young audiences to cut their teeth on the graphic novel. And I'm interested to see what happens in book three!

Rated G."
"I can’t say too much because it is a sequel. The series is PG. A younger kid can pick it up if they wanted to. It is almost exactly how you would expect a hero journey in a middle grade book to go.

Though it it can be predictable. The story is still fun.
-Emily learns how to use the magic
-everyone is decent characters with there own personality
-trolls are decent villains
- there is a threat of if Emily uses too much power from the stone she looses control"
""The Stonekeeper's Curse" by Kazu Kibuishi is, the second book in the Amulet series following Emily, her brother Nevon, and their friends as they start looking for a cure for their mother, finding a new friend, and discovering their roles as stonekeeper and commander.

I would give "The Stonekeeper's Curse" by Kazu Kibuishi a 5-star review because, 1; I love the action 2; I love how in this book it shows how once Emily got her powers she struggled and learned how to control her powers unlike other books 4; the walking house and 5; I loved all the characters that we met."
