"Some fantastic stuff in here, though almost half is just summaries of the books. I loved the timeline, house plans, and explanations of life at the time (medicine, etc). That said I'd say this is targeted at maybe a teen audience. My daughter loves the recipes and made me make the heart "cakes" which are really quite good...buckwheat pancakes and pulled molasses candy and molasses on snow candy are all on her list too. A great way to bring the books to life and would highly recommend for a homeschool or enrichment-at-home unit!"
