I did put it off for a little while because when I know I'm going into an emotional read I need to prepare myself. So...after washing all my make-up off and putting my kiddos to sleep, I curled into bed and began....<br/><br/><i><b>Synopsis:</b></i><br/><br/><i>"I wasn't always in love with Colton Calloway; I was in love with his younger brother, Kyle, first. Kyle was my first one true love, my first in every way. Then, one stormy August night, he died, and the person I was died with him. Colton didn't teach me how to live. He didn't heal the pain. He didn't make it okay. He taught me how to hurt, how to not be okay, and, eventually, how to let go."</i><br/><br/><i><b>"Kyle was my first one true love, my first in every way." ~ Nell</b></i><br/><br/>Even going into this book and knowing that Nell would end up with Colton didn't prepare me for the fact that I would fall in <i>LOVE</i> with Kyle. How can you just forget that???? I was so completely wrapped up in Kyle & Nell's relationship that when the death part actually came I was chocking back sobs!! And not the cute sobbing....OH NOOOOO the ugly face sobbing that hurts the back of your throat and make your chest hurt. Everyone deals with pain in different ways and thankfully Nell & Colton found each other. The love they had wasn't forced or necessarily expected of them....it was natural. It was two people that had a connection to each other and it was beautiful. I loved that Nell was herself around Colton. He never tried to make her be someone she wasn't he just let her be herself and tried to help her the best way he could.<br/><br/>The chemistry....was OFF THE CHARTS....HOT!!!! Colton was sexy as all get out and the sex...Holy **** Balls it was steamy! There really was 2 sides to Colton. The gentle loving side and the Alpha male in bed! <br/><br/><i><b>"I'm not just falling in love with you, Nell. I'm falling into you. I love love love books that incorporate music into the story whether the characters are musicians or the author just gives us a playlist to go along with the story. When I saw the playlist I had to do some fist pumps because it's like thinking you opened all your presents on Christmas only to find one more that you didn't know you had. <br/><br/>Books & Music are my two LOVES and when an author mixes those I am in HEAVEN!!!<br/><br/>So go and get this book if you haven't already. It's an amazing book and I loved every second of it!<br/><br/>"
