"I really enjoyed this book! It was fast paced and humorous! Liv may be known as the ice queen of the group, but in reality she was such a sweetheart, and Deiss was sooo swoony! I loved both of them! It's a bit weird to me that Deiss always goes by his last name, especially since he doesn't have a weird first name, but to each their own. Liv and Deiss were such a sweet couple, and I enjoyed the friend group dynamic! Simone really annoyed me, especially towards the end, but I liked all of the others! Mac especially was super fun, and was definitely my favorite! He oozed golden retriever energy! Part of this book is set in South Africa, so that was super fun! Friends to lovers, slow burn, forbidden romance, only one bed, and a safari setting! There's some fade to black spice, but nothing super explicit. Definitely a fun summer read, and I totally recommend checking this book out!"
"I really enjoyed this book! It was a relatively quick read that I was quickly sucked into. The friendship group was really sweet, but it was interesting to see how the dynamic was different as Liv experienced the group in different scenarios. It felt how friendships actually are instead of just how they are written in books. Liv was an amazing character and I loved the layers she had from her backstory to her life “unraveling.” I did think the ending wrapped up just a little too quickly."

"I was able to read this for free thanks to Net Galley, although that does not affect my opinion of the actual book. I loved reading this book. From the moment it began, I was invested. Whenever I had to stop reading in order to go do something else, I kept thinking to myself “I want to keep reading” and that is when you know a book is really good. This book makes me want to go on a safari and travel through South Africa. I don’t know how else to describe this book other than to say that it truly is my new favorite. All of the characters have a piece of my heart."
