"I know the theme of the series is that these are love clichés... but I really can't handle it being more than just one or two... Not only does she fall in love with her boss, but there also has to be an age gap...and he has a surprise kid from his previous marriage... I hate that trope. St. Clair is a very talented author, so it made this kind of book more enjoyable for me. The epilogue also alluded to an enemies to lovers in the 3rd book... which is my favorite trope and I'm willing to give a try. I just hope the main character, in the audio book I will listen to, doesn't talk in a southern accent. That will grate on my nerves..."
