"<strong>Misogynistic, repetitive, juvenile gibberish </strong><br/><br/>I read another book in this series and liked it. The couple in that book also had an instant love, but I could feel their connection unlike with this book. All I really saw between Daniel and Avery was lust. Very repetitive lust. There is a lot of sex in this book and almost all of it takes place up against a wall or a car door. The sex was very high schoolish. Daniel's behavior throughout the book is appalling. He treats Avery like she's an idiot who can't take care of herself. He leads her around objects in the street so she doesn't get hurt because how did she survive before him??? He insults her cautious driving and promises to give her lessons because he's incredibly sexist. He makes several remarks about her cooking for him and even more about how she belongs to him. Like she's property. He also has a habit of laughing when she opens up about her fears or nervous habits. Nothing says I love you like belittling your feelings. He also delivers cringeworthy sexual innuendo repeatedly and then laughs like it's the funniest thing ever. He's also incredibly clingy and needy as he spends a lot of time begging her to move in regardless of her telling over and over she needs more time. He has zero regard for her wishes. They both get incredibly jealous when someone from the opposite sex speaks with one of them. Tip to the author... jealousy isn't a sign of love, it's a sign of insecurity. Definitely not attractive. I wanted to like Avery, but she was way too weak. Daniel walks all over and she honestly feels like a side character. I was still in her corner until she dropped a baby. A whole baby. You see, she scared of clowns and when Daniel's sister mentions there are clowns next door she just drops the baby out of fear. Luckly, Daniel is able to catch the baby but really? Who just drops a baby? I cannot encourage you enough to skip this book. The relationship plays out entirely like something from junior high. It's mainly just boring, repetitive common stupid sex scenes."
