But that was before Suzanne. Now the twosome has become a triangle with constantly shifting alliances. Caddy’s ready to be more than just the quiet one. She wants something to happen. "*SPOILERS AHEAD* Okay so if anyone is going to read this, they should definitely check for trigger warnings beforehand. I once again did not read the synopsis so I really didn't know what kind of book this was going to be. It started off good and made me think it'll be a fun book or something, but then in came Suzanne(one of the main characters) the sad and lost troublemaker. When she came into the picture everything just went downhill and I honestly loved the way the author wrote Caddy's(another character)"spiral" if you want to call it that. Sarah Barnard definitely delved deep into how some teenagers act when brought into new situations. The plot line was good, sad but good, the characters were selfish, untrustworthy, two-faced and rude most of the time. I really liked how it ended because sure it was a good ending but it also left off on a happy-open ended note and not like "And everything worked out perfectly well and everyone's happy the end". Would I read more of her works? I don't know yet. Do I recommend this book? Sure, just as long as the person is comfortable with what is talked about.
