"So this is actually a really good book if you like slice of Life historical fiction. I think my one complaint would be that it has a little bit of a frustrating ending but it also has very little plot other than "a year in the life of" etc. I will say that I enjoyed it because it made me Google a lot of things and learn a lot of neat stuff! I had never heard of the blues of Kentucky, for example. It's definitely a good read."
