Peyton 313 is the first book in a futuristic Science Fiction and Fantasy series from USA Today Bestselling Author Donna McDonald. The war was over long ago, but the fight for their humanity is just beginning.Dr. Kyra Winters certainly never meant for her work to be used for anything evil even though that’s exactly what happened. Her studies in cyber conversions and genetic engineering were supposed to make the world a better place. The best soldiers got converted into Cyborgs to fight a World War no one wanted to be reminded of ever happening. Enslaved by their programming ten years ago, the Cyborgs have no idea that the war they signed up to fight is over. Or that a fight for their humanity is just beginning. If the current world powers had any proof of her reversal experiments, Kyra would be killed for even trying to free them. She’s already lost two Cyborgs due to her failures. Are Peyton 313’s chances any better? Failure is not an option Kyra can even consider since she’s out of both money and time. The fate of all cybernetic humans rests on her successfully restoring the cyborg who was once Marine Captain Peyton Elliott. Worst epic fail of her scientific career? Caring too much for a cyborg she helped create.ABOUT THIS SERIES - Set in the future, this science fiction action and adventure story explores military boundaries in a tale of created cyborgs and genetic engineering. "<strong>Good story, so-so editing</strong><br/><br/>The setting and characters were quite good, as were the reactions and actions, I think. Sadly, per what seems to be the new norm in publishing, there is a serious need for another editing pass, most specifically to fix a few missing words, wrong word usage (such as using do instead of to), etc."
