"4.5 stars

I love a horror summer camp story so much and this was so good!! I suspected the killer pretty early on but I think everything was set up and executed so well! It kept me invested and I very easily could’ve finished it in one sitting! There were a couple of parts where I got a little confused and had to go back to remember who was being talked about just because there were so many names but by the end, everything made sense and I loved it!"
"Last year I read How to Survive Your Murder by this same author, and despite the great twists… I didn’t love it. This book definitely helped to redeem this author for me, because wow, what did I just read. So much red herrings, twists, and suspense… I knew this book would have some, but not this many. Also great pacing, there wasn’t a moment where nothing was happening. The characters also had good development, even if it was overshadowed by suspense. There were still a few issues, mostly that it took some time for things to get going, we didn’t get enough time with some side characters, and the dual POV sometimes meant I forgot moments because Olivia and Regan were separated between chapters (and it would always be after a good twist that the chapter ended, quit leaving me hanging!) I don’t think this is an auto-buy author yet because of her previous book being not my favorite, but I will ask anyone who wants a great, twisty YA thriller to read this soon. "
