"When asked to write a review it’s often a time for self reflection on how you as the reader perceived and understood the book you read. I think for me this book and the ones before were a journey. They’ve changed and moved me. Made my cry and laugh and feel happy. This book was so good I can not properly put it into words. There is plot twists, painful scenes, and true love shown between all the characters. That being said finishing the book gave me two feelings. Overwhelming happiness for the ending and the characters I’ve read so much about. But it also made me a bit sad because in so many ways I fell in love and when I turned that final page it was not the ending of a chapter but the ending of a story that I still feel only just started. Overall I couldn’t have asked Lauren for a better ending to Paedyn and Kai’s story. While I never want them to end your books have made me feel so much, for better or worse. Thank you for writing such amazing books and please don’t ever stop what you do. For anyone looking here to know if you should read the book or start the first. Yes. You should read. With nothing more I end this review and the reflection it is. “This life is sweet. Like honey.”"
