“I didn’t read this book, I devoured it. Arranged marriage is one of my favorite tropes and RK Lilley completely blew it out of the water. Arranged is angsty, sexy, and heartbreaking. Immediately adding it to my future re-read list. Banks is my new favorite alpha bully.” Claire Contreras, New York Times Bestselling Author "Fatally beautiful. Gut-tightening intensity. Off the charts sexual chemistry and a love story unlike any other. You will devour this tale by RK Lilley and only want more." Audrey Carlan, #1 NYT Bestselling Author "Classic RK Lilley with all the angst, steam, and edginess she does so damn well. I loved it!" Kylie Scott, NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author “Some books are simply better than others. This is one of those books. Calder Banks Castelo is a jerk of epic proportions. Jerk-a-licious perfection. Banks and Noura together light the pages on fire. Sensual, angsty, exquisite. Don’t miss it.” Jana Aston, New York Times Bestselling Author There were rules in the cash-for-beauty game. The money held the power. The beauty followed the rules and jumped through the hoops. THE BRIDEI knew what everyone would think if they knew the truth about my marriage. They'd be shocked and appalled. And rightly so.I was a young, modern, independent woman, and I'd done the unthinkable. I'd sold my virginity to a spoiled, rich boy. To a stranger who didn’t love me. And yes, I'd done it all for money. THE GROOMMy bride was as gorgeous as she was unwelcome. As desirable as she was unwanted. I wanted nothing to do with her, but that didn’t seem to matter exactly the second she got close enough to touch. I wanted her to hate me more than she loved the millions she’d sold herself for. I wanted to spurn her, but unfortunately, I wanted to f*ck her more. ARRANGED is a standalone erotic romance.

"Oof, that was an awful experience!

I never want to revisit this.

I was made to believe this was a hot enemies-to-lovers, so that's why I picked up the audio.

Awful, awful hero!

Even worst heroine!

The heroine, I liked her motives at first, because I respect women who know the value of money and would do anything to get it, and she was doing great at first. And I always love stories that start this way: the character was in it for something else but then falls in love unexpectedly.

But then she starts (falling?) for the hero, way too fast... A hero who calls her horrible names and cheats on her...? What the ****?! No way. This is not the type of heroine I want to read about.

At some point, she even claimed she was "turned on" after the hero practically humiliated her...? And it wasn't even a hot thing, the hero was blatantly disgusting and rude to her!

Um... Girl, I liked you at first but the fact that you don't even try to tell this man off for his disgusting behavior towards you is very much off-putting and disappointing, and gag-inducing.

And I would totally get it if the reason she was taking the abuse was because of the money, but in her POV, she claimed to be so attracted to the hero, claimed to want his attention so much, that I'm like...

Girl, he just called you a cum-dumpster.

Have you no shame? Do you not value yourself? Why do you care at this point if this man loves you or is attracted to you?

Don't read this book unless you want to rip your eyes out.

And I do notice this is a trend with this author. She has her heroines act like doormats to awful, cheating heroes. I also read her Tristan and Danika series a while back and had a similar experience, I just could not stand how the heroine just lets the cheating hero walk all over her like she was dog-****.

The only good series I have read from her is the Up in the Air series, a few years ago, which I may need to revisit now, if only to see if my initial good judgment of it was correct.

Because if her other books are like this, maybe Up in the Air was not as great as I remembered..."
"The ending went by really fast for me but still really good, a classic #enemiestolovers hmm there’s some cheating but i think it’s still up for interpretation "

"I just loved this story. Dark mafia romance is my favorite genre. Especially when it's an Italian family.

Mia and Alessio story is Dark, tragic and beautiful. There will be some times you will curse Alessio, After he is the underboss of the Costa mob, other times you will love him.
Mia is the daughter of an Italian mob boss, trying to heal from her sisters disappearance, Now presumed dead . Her sister was arranged to marry Alesia. Fast forward six months and now Mia is now arranged to marry Alessio. Mis is shocked her father has agreed to this arrangement.
This book is filled with , kidnapping, death, love, romance, betrayal , alpha males, twist and turns, and steamy chemistry. I just wish it was a little darker.
In a personal side note , Which I greatly appreciated was the author differently did her home work with some of the Italian traditions, First time I read a books with the feast of the seven fishes. Brought me back to Nonnis house. Thank you"
