"This novel was perfect from start to finish. It was extremely difficult for me to put this down due to the way the author effortlessly discussed all of the emotions of the characters through each of their perspectives. She truly understood the beauty in perfectly describing everything that she wrote about. This includes the scenery, attractive characters, etc. Alongside this, there was no unnecessary words due to her lack of redundancy.
In terms of the storyline, I would have preferred more time between Achilles and Briseis. However, I recognize that the author progressed the story based on the actual Iliad rather than playing more into her own fantasy. Overall though, this novel was perfection in every regard."
