At the bottom of his luck he see's this mysterious job as the chance to get back some of what was taken from him. Oh, did I mention that he see's ghosts who try to tell him not to take the job and he takes it anyways? Mario is thrust into a dark world of drug trafficking, witches, creatures that burrow under the earth, a little god on earth and the devil him (or herself). This book has a nice blend of social commentary and horror elements that make it a perfect crime story."
