"this book is super underrated"

"This book grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go. I'm an adult reading young reader fiction in this case, so there is an expectation on my part that the story would be a bit predictable. A happy ending was indeed predictable, however, the tension never let up and Mr. Scarrow included a few plot twists that made the reading adventure more fun.

An advanced readers copy of this first book in the TimeRiders series found me by accident only when I began selling books. Since advanced reader copies cannot be resold, this was one of only a few books I set aside to read personally. Now I'm very glad I did, and I was further delighted to discover on Goodreads today that this is the first book in a long series of stories. Yay! I'm very much looking forward to spending more time with the TimeRiding crew."
